Get Acrobat ReaderThe Albuquerque Police Department's Recruiting and Selection Unit conducts Pre-testing  assessments for those interested in joining APD as a Police Cadet Photo(Officer), Lateral Transfer Officer, Police Service Aide or Reserve Officer.  Individuals will be tested on all five components of the physical fitness test.  If an individual's test results fall below the minimum physical fitness requirements, recommendations on how to make improvements will be addressed at this time
