About the Air Support Unit
The Air Support Unit uses helicopters and other aircraft to extend APD's reach. From assisting ground units in pursuits to conducting search and rescue missions, Air Support provides an unmatched advantage in protecting Albuquerque.
Specialty Pay: +$50 biweekly specialty pay (Aerial Observers)

Provide aerial observation for patrol and tactical operations.
Search & Rescue Support

Rapid Response
Offer rapid response to critical incidents.
Air-to-Ground Coordination
Coordinate with ground units during active incidents by providing aerial updates, scene awareness, and real-time support.
