About the Field Services Bureau
The Field Services Bureau (FSB) is the largest and most visible division within APD. Field Officers are the first responders to calls for service, working in teams of eight officers under the supervision of a sergeant. Every officer's journey begins here, making FSB the backbone of the department.

What You'll Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities in this specialized unit.
Respond to 911 Calls
Respond to 911 calls and incidents across Albuquerque as a first responder.
Proactive Patrol
Provide proactive patrol and community policing throughout the city.
Enforce Laws & Ensure Safety
Enforce laws and ensure public safety for all Albuquerque residents.
Work as a Team
Work closely with a small team of eight officers under a sergeant.
Adapt to Shift Variations
Adjust to shift variations including days, swing, or graveyard assignments.
