About the K9 Unit
The K9 Unit is a specialized branch of APD's Tactical Team. Handlers and their canine partners play a vital role in tracking suspects, detecting narcotics or explosives, and protecting fellow officers during high-risk operations.
Specialty Pay: +$50 biweekly specialty pay (K9 Detection Team)
